This mid 20th century gouache on paper painting entitled “Persuasion” is by San Francisco artist Clyde Follett Seavey (1920-1991). Seavey studied at UC Berkeley and California College of Arts and Crafts. He was a commercial artist for magazines such as The American Weekly and had many shows in San Francisco during the 1960s. Signed at right outside image area.
