Calo Carratalá is a contemporary Spanish artist, based in Valencia, specializing in landscapes. With a passion for traveling, he has visited the Amazon, Colorado, the Alps and the Pyrenees, the forests of Norway… Always armed with sketching pad, the artist sketches the sensations he obtains from the different places he visits. Similar to the artists from the romantic period, Calo Carratalá portrays a natural landscape which is both agitated and grandiose, inciting admiration and contemplation.
