Reflection n°6 is an oil painting by Spanish contemporary artist Calo Carratalá, taken from the “Jungle” series. Oil on canvas, 150 cm × 230 cm. Calo Carratalá is a contemporary Spanish artist, based in Valencia, specializing in landscapes. With a passion for traveling, he has visited the Amazon, Colorado, the Alps and the Pyrenees and even the forests of Norway: always armed with sketching pad, the artist sketches the sensations he obtains from the different places he visits. Similar to the artists from the romantic period, Calo Carratalá portrays a natural landscape which is both agitated, perhaps even worrying, and also grandiose inciting admiration and contemplation.
