Stunning French Art Deco cubist gouache on cardboard painting by C. Massin (France, 20th Century). Signed on the bottom right corner. Featuring a sportsman playing tennis. Very nice shades of warm colors in sienna, tangerine, contrasted with cold colors in a range of green and blue. Newly reframed in an imitation exotic wood frame with white linen matte. Measurements: With frame: 22.44 in. wide (57 cm) x 22.04 in. high (56 cm). Opening view: 17.91 in. wide (45.5 cm) x 17.32 in. high (44 cm). Reference: Another painting from this artist was sold in France in 2010 by the auction house in Paris, Olivier Coutau-Begarie during a cataloged auction sale on sports (check the last picture for info).
