Where Christo wraps buildings, Robert wraps people. His Wrapped Series photographs and films are cap- tured at sunrise in the southern Californian hi-desert. Robert uses both digital and film mediums, without assistants or artifical lighting, creating intimate images that remain pure. During a session, he swirls the sheer material in a way “ to paint “ his subjects with resulting artwork that looks more like paintings than traditional photography. Robert’s photographs capture a moment of experience that reveals an inner deeper nature and asks us to reconsider them again and again. Robert Mack is a visual artist, photographer, and filmmaker. His fine art photography and films received major exhibitions at the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Reiss-Engelhorn Museum in Mannheim, Germany and both museums purchased Robert’s artwork for their permanent collections.
