Limited edition Saint Laurent “Paris” print summer ensemble. circa 1983

In 1983, Yves Saint Laurent paid tribute to the city that had always loved and supported him,and where is dreams had taken flight. In the style of 1950 novelty prints this ensemble displays motifs of famous tourist sites in Paris with the designer’s signature also featured within the design. A limited print created to coincide with the launch of Yves Saint Laurent’s fragrance “Paris”. It evokes all the memories and fantasies about a Parisian lifestyle full of love , fashion and sophistication. This rare ensemble is constructed with a cotton material. The print is pink, blue and yellow. The top is decorated with puff sleeves and wraps around the waist. The skirt is slightly gathered at the waist and fasten with a zip.
