A fine pair of French 19th-20th century Louis XV style grey and parcel giltwood carved trumeau mirror frames. Each frame with an oil on canvas depicting allegorical playful putti and cherubs with a cage, one playing a horn, both within a parcel-giltwood carved frame above carved giltwood ribbons, tassels, wreaths, flowers and acanthus. The mirror with plates with a domed top, Paris, circa 1900. Each mirror measures: Height 89 3/4 inches (228 cm) Width 38 inches (96.5 cm) Overall depth 3 1/2 inches (8.9 cm).
