Pair of Very Fine Club Chairs by Hancock & Moore

A stately pair of Club chairs crafted by noted American maker Hancock & Moore. Dark mahogany frames with tall square backs, closed carved sloping arms with scrolled ends. The lower arms with carved leaves and with slightly curved seat rails. Raised on fluted cylindrical legs with rosettes at the top. Upholstered in a fine dusty blue striped fabric with a sheen. The Pair sit very solidly and are quite comfortable. Measures: Height 37 12″, width 26 1/2″, depth 24″, seat height 22″ Condition: The overall condition is very good with a few minor rubs and a scratch to the inner crook of one arm (see photos) however the Pair present very well.
