A stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian 396.09 carat amethyst and 14 karat yellow gold riviere collarette necklace; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections This stunning antique amethyst necklace has been crafted in 14k yellow gold. The antique riviere necklace* is ornamented with a total of twenty graduated oval faceted cut amethysts, individually claw set in plain oval links. This amethyst collarette necklace secures to the reverse with a discreet clasp ornamented with an oval faceted amethyst. This antique necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14 karat gold. This impressive necklace is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. NOTE: * A riviere necklace is composed of gemstones of the same species, that are either all the same size and shape or graduate subtly in size. Historically such settings were separate collets and the mid-eighteenth century saw the popularity of conjoining such settings with cord or ribbon.
