Tiny baubles of gold are placed at each cross end and round the gemstone. The cross was made approximately one thousand to fifteen hundred AD. The magnificent gold workmanship is a treasure to behold. The condition is very good and wearable. The is 40 mm (1.58 inches) and width is 31.5mm. (1 1/4 inches) the weight is 6.57 grams.
