A stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian 124.21 carat citrine and 9 karat rose gold riviere necklace; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections This stunning, fine and impressive antique necklace has been crafted in 9k rose gold. The antique riviere necklace* is ornamented with nineteen graduated oval faceted cut citrines, individually bezel set in rose gold. The articulating oval links are each connected to one another via two parallel rose gold curb chains. The necklace secures to the reverse with a discreet clasp that fastens to the reverse of one of the impressive bezel set citrine links. This antique citrine riviere necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 karat gold. This impressive citrine necklace is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. NOTE:* A riviere necklace is composed of gemstones of the same species, that are either all the same size and shape or graduate subtly in size. Historically such settings were separate collets and the mid-eighteenth century saw the popularity of conjoining such settings with cord or ribbon. Classically rivieres are designs with little to no ornamentation to allow the gemstone to be the feature of the piece.
