Antique Victorian Diamond Star Pendant, Blue Enamel, 9 Karat Yellow Gold

A beautiful antique Victorian 9 karat yellow gold and blue enamel star pendant. Made from bloomed 9 karat gold it has the rich appearance of high carat gold, it has a cobalt blue enamel star to the centre gypsy set with a single old rose cut diamond. The pendant is oval shaped with a rope twist border, the front of the pendant has applied wirework detailing with an, Etruscan revival feel to it. It has a locket back but no glazed panel. Well worn and well loved over the years with wear but plenty of charm and character. It is unmarked, tests as 9 karat gold, Victorian era c1880s. It has a later gold plated jump ring attached for hanging from a necklace. Condition: Fair used condition overall, some light surface wear, tiny ding to the lower front, missing some wirework detailing, does not have glazing at the back, some loss to enamel.
