Antique Victorian Garnet and Seed Pearl Ring, 9 Karat Gold

A pretty antique Victorian Garnet and seed pearl ring in 9kt yellow gold. It is a boat head style ring set to the front with three purple red Garnets with a faceted round cut, large tables giving them a flat cut look, the garnet are intercepted with tiny seed pearl and they are all set into a rich yellow gold setting. It has a smooth yellow gold band, this shows evidence of resize or possibly a replacement but both parts of the same era, there is a stamp just behind the face for 9kt gold and the inner band is fully hallmarked. Hallmarks for 9kt gold, Birmingham assay office, 1876. Condition: Fair used condition overall, lots of aged patina, evidence of a band replacement or resize, wear to the stones including surface scratches and nicks.
