Art Deco Inspired Ruby and Diamond Target Engagement Dress Ring Set in Platinum

A beautiful Art Deco inspired ruby and diamond target engagement / dress ring set in platinum. The ring is predominantly set with a stunning old cut diamond which is four claw set to centre. The central diamond is then surrounding by a halo of 20 calibre cut rubies. All of the rubies are perfectly matched in colouring and are all a vibrant Burmese red-purple colour. Unlike traditional target rings the head of the ring then flows nicely to matching diamond and ruby set shoulders which are also perfectly matched in design. The ring is currently a UK finger size N, USA size 6 1/2, but this can be resized for a perfect fit. The central old cut diamond has a weight of 1.14 carats and is estimated to be H in colour with VS2 clarity. There is a remaining diamond weight of 0.14 carats. There is a total ruby weight of 2.43 carats and these are all perfectly matched in a Burmese red colour. For size reference the head of the ring measures 1.0 x 2.0 centimetres and has a gross weight of 5.6 grams.
